Winter Solstice Workshop
The Winter Solstice marks the astrological beginning of winter, the shortest day of the year, when the darkness is at its greatest. This workshop is aimed at helping us to find pause and stillness, amongst the busyness of the festive season. An opportunity to honour the darkness of winter, and rekindle the light within at this time of rest and reflection before the return of the light and the sun.
We will flow through different yoga poses, using movement and breath to release the body and mind of stress and tension, helping us to feel both physically and mentally grounded and destressed. Through meditation, stillness and journaling we can find inner calm, reflect back over the last few months on any insight and wisdom the stillness of winter has given us, helping us to understand that winter really is the time to rest and restore, gathering our energy to be able to plant new seeds which we wish to grow in the year ahead.
The mixture of movement, stillness and reflection will help our bodies to feel lighter, our hearts to feel grateful and our intentions to be aligned, so that we can allow winter to be a deeply nourishing time, allowing the great stillness this time of year brings to nurture and restore us before the sun's strength builds and the days lengthen once again.

Yin & Reset Yoga

Sunday 16th November 3- 4:30pm
Friday 5th December 7-8:30pm
Join me in this beautiful spot nestled in nature for a 90 minute releasing, relaxing and resetting practice.
Throughout the session we will move through a gentle yoga flow, unwinding and releasing any built up tension from the week. We will then settle into the stillness of Yin Yoga, with long held postures aimed at calming and balancing the mind and body, whilst increasing flexibility, joint mobility, energy flow and circulation. Finishing with a deep, guided relaxation & calming herbal tea.
Mats and herbal teas provided.
For your comfort please feel free to bring blankets, cosy socks, props (blocks, bolster, pillows/cushions).
